Every listing is checked by a person before it goes public. Four things have to be true first.
A link to your own published information, with the date we checked it. That date appears on your listing, so parents can see how fresh it is.
A published business address — never a named individual’s personal email.
We check for unresolved public safety or legal concerns. This is not a quality review, and we never describe it as one.
A judgement call, made by a person. It is the strictest of the four and the one that cannot be automated.
Seven further checks measure how complete a listing is — web presence, address, age range, approach, a real description, recent activity. Those don’t block publishing. A thin listing is less useful, not unsafe.
This is why there are fewer listings on Tiny Circle than elsewhere. It’s also why being on it means something.

Quality is not assessed. Every listing is reviewed for accuracy and for unresolved public safety or legal concerns. That review is not an evaluation of the service itself, and the distinction is stated on every listing.
