SmartKids International is an international early years education centre in Thao Dien, offering English-language programmes for children aged 12 months to 6.5 years. Diversity is built into the classroom structure itself: no single nationality makes up more than 30% of any class, ensuring genuine multicultural interaction. We take a whole-child approach: social-emotional development, physical development, and communication are balanced alongside academics. Each child's progress is followed individually through Early Learning Goals reports, issued twice annually and discussed with parents — covering the child's whole development, not academics alone, with clear individual targets agreed between teachers and parents. This sits alongside a strong emphasis on coaching children toward independence and readiness for their next educational stage. Classes (max 18 children) are run by native English-speaking early years specialists, supported by local teacher maintaining a 1:5 teacher-to-child ratio, who engage with children throughout the day — including at lunchtime, seen as a key moment for developing communication, language, socializing, and table manners. Daily teacher-led programmes run flexibly from a minimum of 3 mornings per week, with optional after-school enrichment classes and an Early Years Language Centre. For younger children, SmartKids offers Parent-Child Playgroups and structured early-introduction classes, including drop-off/crèche options. SmartKids operates an open-door policy: parents are welcome to visit and observe a class before enrolling, can attend a free trial class, and — once enrolled — may join a class at any time.
